Duilich nach deach mòran a sgrìobhadh air a’ bhlog bho chionn goirid, tha
cùisean air a bhith gu math trang san sgoil!
An toiseach bu mhaith leinn taing mhòr a thoirt do mhuinntir
a’ Mhòid airson a h-uile càil a rinn iad son an fharpais a chur an òrdugh, gu
h-àraidh leis na thachair ann an Liberton.
Thaitinn an latha ris na sgoilearan gu mòr, is bha iad uabhasach pròiseil
a thilleadh dhan sgoil gus innse mar a chaidh dhaibh. A-rithist, ’s e cothrom sònraichte a tha seo
dha na sgoilearan na sgilean aca a chur gu feum taobh a-muigh na sgoile agus
tha sinn fada an comann na feadhainn a tha ga ruith.
Is chan eil an strì is an fhairpis deiseil fhathast. Fhuair sinn fios an t-seachdain-sa mu
thrì diofar fharpaisean sgrìobhaidh:
·
Farpais bhàrdachd Struileag http://www.struileag.com/gd/Bardachd/Farpais-Bhardachd
·
Farpais Gheamannan a’ Cho-Fhlaitheis http://www.storlann.co.uk/gcf/index.html#.U2jFf-KLK7s
Farpais sgrìobhaidh Chlas (bidh a h-uile
sgoilear ann an AS1/2 ga dèanamh!)
Bidh cothrom aig sgoilearan tagradh a chur a-steach dha na
farpaisean seo mar a thogras dhaibh fhèin, is gheibh iad làn taic san sgoil ann
a bhith deisealachadh air an son.
Mu dheireadh, ar beannachdan leis na sgoilearan a tha an
ìmpis na deuchainnean aca a shuidhe! 'S
iad an fheadhainn a th’ air a’ cheathramh bhliadhna a tha a’ dèanamh N5 airson
a’ chiad uair, an fheadhainn air a’ chòigeamh bhliadhna a tha a’ dèanamh
Àrd-Ìre agus an fheadhainn shean air an t-siathamh bhliadhna a tha a’ dèanamh
Sàr-Àrd-Ìre. Gura math thèid leotha,
agus cuimhnichibh gum faod iad tighinn dhan sgoil airson tuilleadh taic
fhaighinn ma tha sin a dhìth orra!
Apologies for the quiet spell on the blog, things have been rather hectic in school with exam preparation and all the other things that are going on.
We would like to thank and congratulate the hard-working folk who organised the Mod; another successful year was had, despite the difficulties faced. All the children invovled were very positive about the experience, and as a school we are delighted they have the chance to put their skills to use to a different audience.
There are a number of writing competitions running at the moment. Please see the links for more details:
Struileag Poetry Competition
http://www.struileag.com/en/Poetry/Poetry-Competition
Commonwealth Games competition http://www.storlann.co.uk/gcf/index.html#.U2jFf-KLK7s
CLAS writing competition (this will be prepared during class time)
All pupils are at liberty to apply for these competitions and will receive support in class for their entries, although only the CLAS one will actually be prepared in class time.
Finally, we would like to wish all pupils sitting Gaelic exams the best of luck. There is still time to come into school for extra help!
